My Martial Arts training began in 1978 and has covered mainly Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Pressure Points, and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, along with a smattering of other arts along the way. My current rankings include a 6th Dan in Tae Kwon Do (World Tae Kwon Do Federation), 4th Dan in Hapkido (Korean Hapkido Federation), and a blue belt in Brazillian Jui-Jitsu.

These are some of my training notes.

Tae Kwon Do

Kim's Tae Kwon Do Referee Manual, first edition was 1994. Current edition is June 3, 2001. This manual contains one page summaries of the WTF rules along with guidelines for refereeing, head of court, and other tournament tasks. This was written for Kim's Tae Kwon Do Academy located at 360 Castro Ave, Mountain View, CA. An earlier version of the rules sheet is used in many of the TKD program booklets in the bay area

Pressure Points

The Hidden Pressure Points of Tae Kwon Do, September 10, 1996. I wrote this thesis as part of my 5th degree black belt exam. It is based on pressure point training I received with my Hapkido training, and with training that I received from many of the subject matter experts listed in the biography.
